Visitor Activity

The Visitor Activity provides insight into surveys with its analysis of respondent information. It records data such as respondent numbers, devices used, browsers, countries, and operating systems, etc.

The overview section includes the following metrics:

  • Total Visits: Each time the survey page is loaded, it is counted as one visit.
  • Total Responses: Each submitted survey response is counted as one response.
  • Total Response Rate: Total Responses / Total Visits (rounded to two decimal places).
  • Latest Response Time: The submission time of the most recent survey response.

Respondent Statistics: The information panel at the top shows an overview of survey responses. The X-axis represents the date, and the Y-axis represents the number of responses. This chart allows you to clearly observe response trends over time.

For PRO plans and above, the Visitor Activity page includes the Question drop-off rate, allowing you to identify which questions are most likely to cause respondents to exit the survey.

The table displays view and drop-off metrics for each question, including:

  • Survey Content: The question title.
  • Views: The number of times the question was viewed.
  • Drop-offs: The number of times respondents discontinued after this question.
  • Drop-off Rate: Drop-offs / Views (not calculated when Views = 0).

Calculation Method

  • Views: A view is recorded when a question appears on a respondent’s screen for the first time during a single response session (repeated views are not counted). Questions hidden by logic are excluded. Views are counted whether or not the survey is submitted.
  • Drop-offs: If a respondent exits before submitting the survey, the system records a drop-off at the last viewed and answered question. No drop-off is recorded if the survey is successfully submitted.

By analyzing the Question drop-off rate, you can quickly identify which questions are more likely to cause respondents to discontinue, providing a clear basis for optimizing survey flow and question design.

Summary

With Visitor Activity, you can eliminate the need to separately investigate respondents’ survey usage behavior and easily gain insights into respondent profiles.
